SyncExpress Server Edition

Our product establishes connections from mobile devices to servers and synchronizes multiple data objects from any part of the globe. SyncExpress Server Edition (Mobile Data Server product) provides synchronization functionality for both operators and corporate MIS departments. This component is designed to connect mobile devices with servers located behind firewalls and provides synchronization of popular object stores such as Outlook (PIM data and e-mail), ODBC compliant databases, and ERP/CRM applications.

SyncExpress Server Edition seamlessly integrates with any network or terminal. It can be deployed rapidly without making expensive changes to existing infrastructure or back office applications.

• SyncML server agent

Ensures data access from a variety of applications and delivers the required synchronization capability across the entire range of wireless devices.

• SyncML synchronization engine

Processes changes made to the object store by exchanging modifications made to copies of the object store, and thereby accomplishing synchronization.

• Event processor

Coordinates resource allocation between synchronization threads to optimize use of system and network resources for large-scale implementations. Persistent memory requirements are minimal.

• Security

SyncExpress Server Edition ensures that the data stored in the server is adequately protected through end-to-end encryption and authentication.

• Synchronization timing

Scheduled (based on user configuration), server-triggered and/or user-initiated.

• ProtocolHub

Our ProtocolHub feature enables support for multiple wireless protocols including Bluetooth and Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b).
